Are you interested in becoming a Volunteer Tutor?
You must be able to volunteer at least one hour a week for the academic year
You need to complete a volunteer application
Pass a fingerprint scan background check
View or attend an "Introduction to Volunteering" training session
View or attend training in language arts or math as provided by the school
Volunteers can work one-on-one or with a small group of students. We encourage you to teach what you enjoy- whether it is reading, writing, basic or advanced math. You do not need an education degree to help. We will provide the materials and the support.
We will do our best to find a tutoring time that fits your schedule.
Opportunities at Circles of Success Learning Academy Elementary School
Volunteers are welcome Monday through Thursday from 9am to 2:30pm. Our priority is to assign reading and math tutors to our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, but will accommodate volunteers interested in working with K-2 students. Volunteers can tutor individual students or work with a small group of students. For more information contact Anthony Redmond at [email protected] or call 901 649-9776.
